![]() We’ll keep you apprised of when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, both the theatrical and “Ultimate Edition” cuts, will be available for physical and digital purchase, but for now, you can look forward to the main DC heroes joining forces when Justice League: Part One hits theaters on November 17, 2017. That’s assuming, of course, that the rumor of a theatrical release is false. Given how many blockbusters nowadays make it to Blu-ray and DVD between three-five months after arriving in theaters, our best guess is that fans will be able to buy it in early August at the latest, just in time for Suicide Squad. It was originally reported that the “Ultimate Edition” would be released on July 16, but that was later debunked by Warner Bros. The home release sales will boost those numbers up further, though whether they’ll be enough to push it past the $1 billion mark is uncertain. The good news is, this Ultimate Edition which includes 31 minutes of additional footageis a better film than you experienced in theaters. The film has been enormously polarizing, more so even than Snyder’s Man of Steel. Despite mostly earning negative reviews, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice does have its share of supporters, and as of this writing, it’s grossed nearly $854 million worldwide. Unpacking Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a complicated task.
